About the Role
The Scala Developer will join a project focused on evolutionary development of existing software, including the integration or replacement of data sources. The role involves hands-on development with Scala and related technologies, contributing to the enhancement and scalability of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software enhancements using Scala
- Integrate and manage data sources within existing applications
- Collaborate with team members to ensure software reliability and performance
- Apply best practices for code quality and testing
- Support the adoption of new technologies and frameworks as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency in Scala
- Experience with Splunk
- Good command of English
- Bash scripting
- Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, HBase, etc.)
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Familiarity with MongoDB or other non-relational databases
- Full remote
