About the Role
The Senior Data Engineer joins the Data Management team and plays a key role in defining and designing Data Platform architectures across cloud and on premise environments.
The role focuses on building scalable analytical solutions, presenting architectural proposals, supporting validation processes, and guiding delivery execution within client projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Design of scalable analytical solutions within Data Platform environments
- Definition and development of ETL and ELT pipelines, data modeling, orchestration of data flows, and integration with enterprise systems
- Design and implementation of Data Governance frameworks, including data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and access control
- Support in defining organizational data models, including roles, responsibilities, and processes
- Collaboration with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and guide technology decisions
- Presentation and validation of proposed solutions with both technical and business stakeholders
- Contribution to roadmap definition and adoption planning
- Coordination of technical teams, activity planning, progress monitoring, and delivery support
- Evaluation of new tools, frameworks, and architectural approaches to enhance existing solutions
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on data architectures, cloud platforms, and data governance
- Experience in consulting or enterprise environments with direct client and stakeholder interaction
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to manage complex and unexpected situations with a solution oriented mindset
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server
- Knowledge of non relational databases such as MongoDB, Delta Lake, and BigQuery
- Experience with Data Platform technologies including Spark, Databricks, Kafka, and Snowflake
- Experience with data catalog and governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, and Azure Purview
- Familiarity with Scala and or Python
- Experience coordinating technical teams and monitoring project progress
- Good command of English at B2 level or higher
