About the Role
We are looking for a Scala Developer to support full lifecycle software development. The role involves building backend and full-stack solutions, integrating systems, optimizing workflows, and delivering high-quality features. You will work closely with project teams, participate in design and coding, and may mentor or guide junior team members. Hybrid UK-based work with travel to client sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend and full-stack solutions using Scala (or Java/.NET/C#)
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Analyze requirements and design scalable, maintainable systems
- Optimize workflows, implement features, and ensure quality standards
- Collaborate with teams, share knowledge, and support mentoring
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in IT with Scala, Java, .NET, or C#
- Full lifecycle software development experience
- Understanding of Agile tools and practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites in the UK
- Legal right to work in the UK
