About the Role
The company is seeking a Scala Developer to strengthen cloud transformation and backend development for next-generation security products. The role involves designing and developing cloud-based solutions, improving existing on-premises applications, and collaborating closely with US-based engineering, product, and architecture teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve existing on-premises applications and support transition to cloud-based architecture
- Design and develop AWS-based cloud solutions
- Implement backend services using Scala, Spark, gRPC, and Akka
- Contribute to data processing pipelines and security-related analytical components
- Collaborate with client-side engineering, product management, and architecture teams
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, coding, code reviews, and deployment
- Work in an Agile environment with iterative delivery and team collaboration
Requirements
- Experience in Scala for production-level development
- Familiarity with Python
- Knowledge of cloud-oriented microservice architecture, particularly AWS
- Skills in Apache Spark, gRPC, and frameworks such as Akka
- Ability to communicate in English with US-based teams
- Proactive, self-organized, and motivated to contribute to long-term product development
- Comfortable working in Agile processes and iterative delivery
