About the Role
The company is seeking a Spark Scala Engineer to support real-time data workflows for e-commerce and retail marketplaces. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing Scala Spark jobs and Airflow DAGs, troubleshooting production pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and refactor Scala Spark jobs and Airflow DAGs
- Support data workflows that enable real-time bidding and marketplace optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable systems
- Troubleshoot and debug production data pipelines
- Contribute ideas and improvements to the engineering team
- Ensure data quality, testing, and observability
Requirements
- Strong Scala and Spark production experience
- Experience building and maintaining Airflow DAGs
- Proficiency in Python
- Data analysis experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of ads, forecasting, or marketplace domains
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues
