About the Role
The role is ideal for candidates who are new to the workforce and interested in working with critical, society-impacting data. The position is part of the Data Engineering department, joining a cross-functional development team responsible for one of Telenor’s value streams, ensuring a complete part of the customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Building ETL and/or ELT pipelines using various tools
- Coding primarily in Scala, with some Python and SQL
- Working autonomously in a team while taking collective responsibility for deliverables
- Developing data products that provide insights for both business operations and the digital infrastructure of society
- Contributing to a secure, on-premise, open-source-based data platform
Requirements
- Education in IT or a related scientific field
- Interest in problem-solving with code and thinking long-term
- Curiosity about new technologies and Telenor’s domain
- Ability to work in effective, autonomous teams
- Strong motivation to learn and grow professionally
- Fluency in Norwegian and English (spoken and written)
