About the Role
adesso is looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to contribute to modern analytics and cloud data projects. The position involves designing and implementing data processes, developing cloud-based analytics platforms, and supporting clients in the use of data and cloud technologies. The role also offers the opportunity to work on international projects and continuously develop expertise in cloud and data engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines, data ingestion processes, and data processing solutions following best practices
- Develop analytics platforms and efficient CI/CD pipelines
- Implement business requirements using Microsoft analytics services, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure SQL
- Continuously expand knowledge of cloud and data engineering technologies
- Support clients with professional consulting in cloud and analytics-related topics
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant professional experience
- Experience working with cloud analytics environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of software development using Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience working with SQL
- Initial experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud service models such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies, including Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
- Strong interest in data and analytics technologies
- Willingness to participate in international projects and occasional business travel
