About the Role
A Backend Engineer is sought to join a team responsible for a developer platform supporting large-scale digital products and services. The role focuses on building scalable backend systems, APIs, and developer tools that enable integration across services and applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams while contributing to architecture discussions and technical problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services.
- Build and optimize data processing pipelines using Apache Spark.
- Develop and maintain APIs and backend components for developer-focused platforms.
- Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional international teams across engineering, product, and data functions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design improvements.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of delivered solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing activities, and CI/CD processes.
- Solve complex technical challenges independently and as part of a team.
