About the Role
The Full Stack Developer will contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure tasks. The role involves designing and building web and mobile applications, developing APIs and backend services, and collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Engineers at Reaktor work autonomously while contributing to the team’s shared knowledge, ensuring code quality, scalability, and operational reliability. The position provides opportunities to learn new technologies, influence development approaches, and engage directly with client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients’ technical and business teams to select appropriate technologies
- Implement new features across frontend applications, backend servers, and databases
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and team members
- Participate in debugging, software design, and architecture discussions
- Build backend services and CI/CD pipelines as required
- Apply DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, automated deployment, and testing
Requirements
- Experience across a broad range of software development modalities (backend, frontend, operations, consulting)
- Proficiency in at least one common server-side language (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript with Node.js, Java, Scala, Kotlin, Clojure, Python)
- Strong knowledge of at least one client-side language and framework (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript with React, Swift, Java/Scala/Kotlin, React Native)
- Foundational knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
- Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
- Comfortable engaging with client stakeholders
- Fluent in English; Finnish language skills are an advantage
