About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that address business requirements while working closely with stakeholders and development teams. The role includes technical design, data analysis, software development, testing, and support throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and implement tactical or strategic technical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technology requirements.
- Define strategic solutions and identify tactical approaches when required.
- Prepare technical design documentation and other solution documents following Agile (SCRUM) standards.
- Perform data analysis to support development activities and business needs.
- Develop and unit test code using an automated BDD testing framework.
- Participate in solution testing, validation, and approval activities.
- Execute automated regression test suites and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Scala/Spark developer.
- Strong SQL development skills with RDBMS databases, including DB2.
- Ability to optimize code for performance, scalability, and configurability.
- At least 2 years of experience working on HDFS platform development projects.
- Proficiency in data analysis, data profiling, and data lineage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
