About the Role
The company is seeking a Senior Scala Engineer to design, develop, and deploy backend services for Security Intelligence Solutions. The role involves building scalable, high-quality systems with low latency, integrating with third-party services, and continuously improving service performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Code primarily using Scala
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services focused on high availability, quality, and scalability
- Measure and evaluate features and system metrics to improve user experience and performance
- Take initiative and collaborate across teams
- Work on the full development lifecycle from architecture design to efficient code implementation
Requirements
- Experience with Scala
- Experience with MongoDB or equivalent document databases
- Experience with RabbitMQ or equivalent message brokers
- Knowledge of REST services (JSON or other) and integration with third-party systems
- Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
- Ability to work from high-level architecture down to detailed coding
- Curiosity, engagement, and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills
