About the Role
The position is a Backend Development Internship within a team of around 20 people working on the Core Banking system. The intern contributes to the development of new features and services within a transactional financial environment. The role includes close collaboration with experienced developers and participation in technical discussions and team rituals.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience with the Core Banking technical environment
- Implement new features, offers, and strategic services (e.g., wallets, Mastercard, Wero)
- Participate in technical design workshops with the team
- Take part in daily team rituals such as daily meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Requirements
- Student enrolled in Computer Science or Software Development program (Bachelor’s or Master’s level, BAC+3 to BAC+5)
- Strong interest in backend development and Scala ecosystem
- Motivation to learn and develop skills across multiple technologies
- Curiosity about monetary transaction systems and Core Banking platforms
- Good teamwork and communication skills
