Responsibilities
- Backend development using Scala
- Building and maintaining distributed systems
- Working with Akka/Pekko frameworks and related components
- Developing stream processing solutions
- Designing and maintaining web services
- Contributing to system architecture and technical design
- Supporting scalable and high-concurrency backend environments
- Working with cloud and CI/CD workflows
Requirements
- Strong Scala programming experience
- Hands-on experience with Akka or Pekko frameworks
- Experience with Akka Streams or Pekko Streams
- Knowledge of Actors, Cluster, Singleton, Persistence, and HTTP components
- Experience with distributed systems and high-concurrency architectures
- Experience with functional programming in Scala
- Familiarity with Cats or Cats Effect
- Understanding of SQL
- Experience with AWS
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices
- Experience with system design
