About the Role
Miriade is seeking a Data Integration Specialist Intern to join and support the Analytics team. The role is focused on learning and contributing to data integration processes, supporting the unification and transformation of data from multiple sources, and assisting in building data pipelines. The internship is designed as a learning opportunity with mentorship and hands-on experience in cloud and data technologies.
Responsibilities
- Explore and analyze data from different sources
- Support data integration processes
- Assist in unifying data from multiple systems for effective business use
- Contribute to the setup of data extraction pipelines
- Support optimization of data integration performance
- Gain knowledge and exposure to technologies such as AWS, Azure, Denodo, Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Python, Scala, and Spark
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other STEM disciplines
- Interest in learning database systems in cloud and on-premise environments
- Strong motivation and curiosity
- Problem-solving mindset
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of ETL processes
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Introductory knowledge of databases
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
