About the Role
AOXIS is seeking a Java / Scala Consultant to join an agile IT team working on the development and transformation of core banking applications.
The consultant will contribute across application architecture, development, testing, documentation, and infrastructure activities. The role involves working throughout the development lifecycle and collaborating closely with project and integration teams.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the architecture of core banking applications.
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Manage and follow the development activities assigned to the role.
- Develop technical components for core banking applications.
- Implement and improve application functionality.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Take part in Agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop unit tests.
- Develop end-to-end application tests.
- Collaborate with project and integration teams.
- Define and provide the technical environments required for the project.
- Deliver software development and testing activities.
- Contribute actively to team activities.
- Conduct technology studies.
- Evaluate and propose technical solutions.
Requirements
- Professional experience with Java and Scala development.
- Backend software development experience.
- Ability to contribute to application architecture.
- Experience working throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with unit and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to collaborate with project and integration teams.
