About the Role
A Data Engineer is sought to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support data-driven decision-making. The position involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability, quality, and accessibility for both analytical and operational use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes to support data warehousing and analytics initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across data systems.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver data solutions that meet business requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with SQL, Python, or Scala for data engineering tasks.
- Proficiency with data pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and schema design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
