About the Role
ADMIRAL Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer with a focus on Apache Flink to support the development of software solutions and data processing systems. The role involves working with large-scale data environments, building data pipelines, and supporting collaboration between data-focused teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and prepare data from source systems
- Design and implement scalable ELT and ETL processes for batch and streaming workloads
- Act as an interface between Data Analysts and Data Scientists
- Enrich and load data into a big data environment based on Apache Hadoop on Cloudera
- Support data processing in high-frequency and near real-time environments
Requirements
- Technical education in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with data modeling, including relational databases and Apache Hadoop environments
- Knowledge of SQL, including MS SQL Server
- Experience with Apache Hadoop technologies, including Kafka, NiFi, and Flink
- Familiarity with Scala and/or Java, Python, and Linux
- Interest in working with high-frequency data processing and near real-time systems
