About the Role
ADENTIS Italia is looking for a Scala Developer to join an international Agile team in a 100% remote position. The successful candidate will contribute to both day-to-day operational activities and the development of new features while supporting the ongoing evolution of the application’s architecture. Fluent English is required for collaboration with an international team based in London.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend applications using Scala.
- Build and maintain frontend components using React.
- Contribute to the development of new features and modernization initiatives.
- Support the maintenance and management of production applications.
- Design and develop REST APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Collaborate with internationally distributed Agile teams.
- Help improve development processes and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of software development experience.
- Strong professional experience with Scala as the primary programming language.
- Good experience developing frontend applications with React.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to work independently on development and maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within distributed teams.
- Fluent English proficiency (minimum B2, preferably C1).
Nice to Have
- Experience in the Media, Broadcasting, OTT, Content Management, or Digital Media sectors.
