About the Role
An Android Software Developer position based in Rosenheim, Germany, offered as a permanent employment role. The position focuses on developing mobile applications for data collection within a small development team. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, design, implementation, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Develop Android mobile applications for data collection
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, design, implementation, and testing
- Conduct performance analysis of mobile applications
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product management, and embedded development teams
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or related field with initial Android development experience, or vocational training with at least 2 years of Android development experience
- Experience in Android development using Kotlin, or alternatively Java or Scala
- Strong interest in clean code principles, TDD, and agile development (Scrum)
- Experience with Git or GitHub version control systems
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) is desirable
- Good command of the German language (spoken and written)
