About the Role
Wipro is seeking a Full Stack Java Enterprise Developer with strong Scala experience to work on enterprise application development. The role involves designing and developing high-performance applications, supporting client onboarding and lifecycle management solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Scala, and modern frontend technologies.
- Design and build low-latency, high-throughput APIs.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve recurring technical issues.
- Modify and enhance software to improve performance, support new technologies, and upgrade existing interfaces.
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate configurations and support application integration and deployment.
- Prepare user training documentation and supporting implementation materials.
- Develop reusable components and services.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Work with stakeholders and Agile teams to deliver technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Scala.
- Experience with Java Full Stack development using Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Angular or React.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, collections, multithreading, and functional programming.
- Experience developing low-latency, high-throughput APIs.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle and MongoDB.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.
- Experience with API integration and application security.
- Solid system design skills.
- Experience developing reusable components and services.
- Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of KYC/AML processes.
- Experience with client onboarding and lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within Agile, cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI/ML or large language models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kafka, or GraphQL.
- Experience with OpenShift, Redis, or Hazelcast.
- Experience building distributed, multi-tier, or highly scalable applications.
